INdividual Therapy

Utilizing state-of-the-art Cognitive Behavioral Therapy — the therapy of choice for most individual issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress — I am able to help you get where you want to be. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (or CBT) is an evidence-based therapy that can help you achieve your goals and improve your well-being by addressing your thoughts, behaviors, emotions, and environment.

You don’t have to do all of the talking either. The therapy is interactive and I will not only ask probing questions, but also teach helpful skills, monitor your progress, and even give work to do outside of session. We take this journey of change together.

COUPLES & RELATIONSHIP THERAPY

Utilizing the tenets from The Gottman Method, I seek to repair and strengthen your relationship utilizing a thorough assessment of the couple relationship and research-based interventions. The goals are to disarm verbal conflict; remove barriers to empathy and understanding; and increase intimacy, respect, and affection. Couples learn to replace negative conflict patterns with positive interactions and to repair past hurts. Interventions designed to increase closeness and intimacy are used to improve friendship, deepen emotional connection, and create changes which enhances the couples shared goals.

Personal Growth Assessments

If you want to find out more about yourself, but don’t have the time or desire for therapy, a personal growth assessment can give you a great deal of information in a very short time. Utilizing research-based instruments and expert analysis, I will give you wide-ranging feedback to address your personality and how it affects you, your relationships, and your life. All assessments include a personal interview, completion of assessment instruments, and a feedback session. You will also be provided with written feedback and, if you wish, a recording of the session.

ONLINE SERVICES

All services are available online. Though I do require the first session to be an in-person meeting, I am able to offer subsequent sessions online in both California and Texas.
